The garden came to Tempelhof
The installation was an invitation into the ESCAPIST GARDEN where Ute Faber held your hand while the moment lasted. Out of it grew two looks from the collection: The Flower Bed and The Weeping Willow.
Materials: cotton, glass beads, metal, paper
Ute Faber
Ute Faber, born 1962 in the Westerwald, studied painting, sculpture and art history in Berlin and Italy. Since 1997 she has worked as an independent artist in Berlin. Her media are woodcut, painting, objects and installation. Her found pieces come from the city and from nature. In her hands they pass through an artistic metamorphosis. Her subject is webs of relations, being and passing. In 2026 her work was shown in New York, Vienna and Kolkata.
MARIE-LOUISE MÜLLER
MARIE-LOUISE MÜLLER is a Slow Fashion atelier in Berlin. Couture and wearable art, made by hand, exclusively from natural fibres, with upcycling as one of the foundations. On 3 July 2026 Marie-Louise Müller received the New Faces Award Style of BUNTE magazine; two days later the atelier debuted with ESCAPIST GARDEN SS27 at Berlin Fashion Week.
The frames from Hangar 5
The first frames arrive on build-up day, Wednesday 9 September, straight from the hangar.
Photographs were added during the fair by the atelier. Credits on each frame; hold still on one to read them.
