In the FASHION POSITIONS section we are revealing an installation named “Step into: ESCAPIST GARDEN”. And we are taking part in the fair’s pop-up shop.
The installation is an invitation into the ESCAPIST GARDEN. Ute Faber’s hand runs through the garden. Out of it grow two looks from the collection: The Flower Bed, 475 hours of handwork, with hundreds of crocheted blossoms, and The Weeping Willow, 330 hours, with 70,000 glass beads.
Ute Faber, born 1962 in the Westerwald, studied painting, sculpture and art history in Berlin and Italy. Since 1997 she has worked as an independent artist in Berlin. Her media are woodcut, painting, objects and installation. Her found pieces come from the city and from nature. In her hands they pass through an artistic metamorphosis. Her subject is webs of relations, being and passing. In 2026 her work was shown in New York, Vienna and Kolkata.
MARIE-LOUISE MÜLLER is a Slow Fashion atelier in Berlin. Couture and wearable art, made by hand, exclusively from natural fibres, with upcycling as one of the foundations. On 3 July 2026 Marie-Louise Müller received the New Faces Award Style of BUNTE magazine; two days later the atelier debuted with ESCAPIST GARDEN SS27 at Berlin Fashion Week.
We take part in the fair’s pop-up shop with several pieces. Among them The Pleated Bomber: 15 numbered, the digital product passport sewn in. The full selection follows closer to September.
